This policy explains how Prepayly ("we", "us") handles information when you use this site. We aim to collect as little as possible. This policy is intended to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
The numbers you enter stay on your device
Our calculators run entirely in your browser (client-side JavaScript). The loan amounts, interest rates, tenures and other figures you type are used only on your device to compute results and are never sent to or stored on our servers.
What we do collect
- Analytics: we may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Google Analytics / Plausible) to understand aggregate, anonymised usage — pages visited, approximate region, device type. This is used to improve the site.
- Cookies/ads: if we run advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) or analytics, third parties may set cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we will request consent.
- If you contact us or opt in to email (e.g. "email me my schedule"): we collect the email address and details you provide, only to respond or send what you requested.
Why we process data and your consent
We process the limited data above to operate and improve the site, serve content/ads, and respond to you. Where the law requires consent (e.g. non-essential cookies, marketing email), we ask for it and you may withdraw it at any time.
Affiliate and third-party links
Some links are affiliate links to lenders/partners. If you click through and apply, that partner collects and processes your data under their own privacy policy, not ours. We may receive confirmation that a referral or application occurred (for commission), but not your full application data. Please read the partner's policy before submitting information to them.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers (analytics, hosting, ad networks) as needed to run the site, and as required by law.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
